At Mar & Lennon Dentistry, we’re always excited to welcome new patients into our dental family. From the moment you walk through our doors, our goal is to make you feel comfortable, informed, and confident in your care. We take a patient-first approach, focusing on your individual needs and making every effort to ensure your visit is stress-free—without ever feeling rushed.

What to Expect at Your First Visit
Plan for approximately two hours for your initial appointment so we can thoroughly assess your oral health and get to know you. The length of your visit may vary depending on your dental condition and history. During your first appointment, we will review your dental and medical history, take digital X-rays of your teeth and mouth, and perform a comprehensive clinical exam that includes an oral cancer screening, periodontal (gum) evaluation, and TMD/TMJ (jaw) assessment. We will also determine the most appropriate cleaning for your current oral health, provide recommendations for follow-up and preventative care, and schedule your next appointment, which is typically in three to six months.

Our secure Patient Portal makes it easy to fill out forms, update your health history, and manage your information ahead of your appointment.
APPOINTMENT POLICY
We understand life happens—but if you need to reschedule, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice. Appointments canceled or missed without notice will incur a $75 fee, which will be applied to your account. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call our office.
FINANCIAL & INSURANCE INFORMATION
We believe in transparency and helping you fully understand your options. Before any procedures begin, you will receive a personalized treatment plan that outlines your recommended care and associated costs, and we will review your insurance benefits and payment options with you so there are no surprises. We accept major credit cards, CareCredit financing, and most dental insurance plans, and we are in network with Delta Dental Premier, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Aetna. If you need help understanding your benefits, our team is always happy to assist with filing claims and answering any questions you may have.
