Dr. Mar, DDS
Born and raised in Wichita, Dr. Mar is passionate about serving his local community with personalized, high-quality dental care. He earned a degree in Chemistry from Creighton University before graduating from Creighton’s School of Dentistry. After working as an associate dentist in Wichita for 1.5 years, he and his wife, Dr. Lennon, opened Mar & Lennon Dentistry together (despite his vote to put her name first!).
Dr. Mar enjoys connecting with his patients and helping them reach long-term oral health goals. Outside the practice, he teaches at Wichita State University's dental hygiene school and dental residency program. Deeply committed to giving back, he has volunteered at the Sedgwick County Children’s Dental Clinic for over 30 years, participated in the Kansas Mission of Mercy (KMOM), and served through Donated Dental Services for over two decades.
When he's not practicing or teaching, Dr. Mar stays busy supporting and spending time with his children.

Originally from Minnesota, Dr. Lennon earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and her dental degree from Creighton University. She and Dr. Mar established Mar & Lennon Dentistry in 1986 with a shared passion for family-centered care.
Dr. Lennon enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients and helping them achieve optimal dental health. Outside the office, she balances her time with family, enjoys walks with her dogs, practices yoga, bikes, reads, and creates scrapbooks.

Paula Kim – Office Administrator
Once a long-time patient, Paula officially joined our team in 2005 and brings a background in human resources. She loves how the office feels like family and enjoys getting to know each patient. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and her goldendoodle, Ruby Soo. She also enjoys travel and riding her Peloton.

Kate Smith - FRONT DESK COORDINATOR
Kate joined our practice in 2024 and is currently attending Wichita State University. She plans to begin dental school next fall as she continues to pursue her passion for dentistry. Outside of the office, Kate enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dog.
Caroline Drennan – Dental Assistant
Caroline has been with us since 1997 and originally studied art at Hutchinson Community College. Though she began pursuing dental hygiene, she found her true calling as a dental assistant. Caroline enjoys singing in her church choir, exercising, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Caroline Drennan – Dental Assistant

Callee joined our team in 2002 after completing her training at Wichita Area Technical College. She enjoys the variety of patients she works with each day and loves being involved in her children's activities with her husband in Andover.

Helen Cartwright – Dental Hygienist
A Wichita State graduate with a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene, Helen has served patients since 1988. A native of Andover, she loves running long distances, spending time with family, and walking her yellow lab, Louise.

Jennifer Grapengater – Dental Hygienist
Jennifer began as a dental assistant before earning her degree in dental hygiene from Wichita State. Since joining us in 2011, she’s been known for her warm conversations and patient care. She enjoys time with her son, friends, and dogs.

Larissa joined our team in 2016. Originally from Sabetha, KS, she graduated from Missouri Southern State’s dental hygiene program in 2011 after earning a degree from Kansas State. She loves spending time with her husband and three sons.

Kathryn earned her bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University in 2010 and joined our practice in 2024. Outside of the office, she enjoys reading, exploring nature trails with friends, and spending quality time with her daughter and their dogs.

Ruby Soo – Patient Satisfaction Coordinator
Ruby, our beloved goldendoodle, takes her job very seriously. She welcomes patients—especially children—and has a natural ability to ease dental anxiety. As a certified Therapy Dog and Canine Good Citizen, Ruby provides comfort with every tail wag. She even does rounds throughout the day to check on patients. When the workday is done, she heads home with Paula to relax after a job well done.
